Tensor is the #1 volume NFT marketplace on Solana today.
We’re seeing chatter suggesting that Tensor is getting ready to launch its NFT collection within the next few weeks. Called Tensorians, it will be tied closely to its NFT marketplace. While little else is known, the NFT could also be linked to a fungible token launch sometime later this year.
As a recap, Tensor is the underdog that overtook Magic Eden as the top marketplace: anchored by an awesome product and a team that keeps shipping. It’s also built up a sizeable community on Solana.
In order to get in on the Tensorian mint, you’ll need to accumulate reward points on Tensor. This comes from listing NFTs, bidding on NFTs or market-making on the platform. There is still some time to do so.
I am a big fan of Tensor and have seen them grow exponentially from the early days. There is a good chance that they will grow into a significant competitor to Blur and OpenSea. Tensor has plans to expand cross-chain, including into Ethereum. I would not fade them.
