Arbitrum’s early supporters were granted rewards today through the airdrop of its native token to users and organizations. Among the earliest adopters was Treasure DAO, a gaming ecosystem founded in September 2021. In an effort to encourage wider distribution, Arbitrum is distributing a portion of its governance tokens to DAOs on the chain, with hopes that they will redistribute them to their communities.
TreasureDAO, along with derivatives exchange GMX, is slated to receive 8,000,000 Arbitrum tokens, tying for the top spot. The amount each DAO received was determined by various factors, such as total value locked (TVL), activity, and transaction volume.
