Spool
I have loosely followed Spool for a few years now. I think portfolio management is an area that will breed a lot of cool projects, and very little has been done so far. It’s a niche better suited for a more mature DeFi, but it is a sure opportunity to be early that hasn’t come yet. My Principal-Protected Yield report explores this area a little bit.
Spool is building in this niche, and I have been somewhat let down by the roadmap and ambition in the past. It’s almost a cool idea, but doesn’t quite deliver anything that gets you really excited. It also has a voSpool token model which is a hard pass for me.
