At the point of this writing, the Bitcoin network has successfully surpassed 10M Ordinal inscriptions, more than tripling since the start of the month. The adoption of Ordinals is showing no signs of a slowdown, largely driven by BRC-20 tokens and the rising popularity of wallets like UniSat, which lowered the entry barrier for retail to buy into Ordinals and BRC-20 tokens.
May saw the largest amount of Ordinals being inscribed daily, averaging more than 250K since the start of the month, with a peak of 401K daily Ordinal inscriptions on May 7. Currently, there are more than 24.6k BRC-20s on the Bitcoin network at the time of writing.
