Telegram stickers recently received a major Web3 update that has led to the release of over 450k NFT stickers from popular IPs, such as Pudgy Penguin, BAYC, and Doodles, and more than $7.2M in combined sales revenue.

With NFT sticker minting and trading expected to go live later this month, what are Telegram NFT stickers, and why should you care?

Although Telegram has been experimenting with blockchain-powered feature launches for a while now (namely decentralized IDs and NFT gifts), the sticker craze was kickstarted in December 2024 with the launch of the Sticker Pack (formerly Sticker Store).

Created by Open Builders (the team behind Notcoin) in collaboration with DOGS, the platform positions itself as a marketplace where “Sticker Packs with limited supply can be minted as NFTs and traded on a marketplace.”

Early Interest

Interest in Telegram’s NFT stickers picked up quickly. Within the first week of launch, users bought 135,000 sticker packs, and the sticker shop has attracted over 875,688 monthly users as of Q1 2025. Despite the actual NFT part of the feature still not yet being live, 18 projects have launched over 126 sticker packs, with the majority selling out in a matter of days and some in a matter of minutes.
