Since 2013, only two out of the last ten Octobers saw BTC end the month lower than where it started: 2014 & 2018. On average, BTC’s October performance is +22%. The median return is higher, at +23.5%.

As of October 3rd, the MTD performance exactly matches the median at -1.5%.

Should the trend continue over the following weeks, it would deliver some much-needed optimism and spook the bears by Halloween!
