In a bid to streamline and improve Uniswap‘s governance processes, a proposal has passed the final on-chain vote for upgrading to Compound’s Governor Bravo contract.

Extend Liquidity Incentives for Aave v2

Aave liquidity miners rejoice! This proposal extends Aave’s liquidity mining program albeit with two minor adjustments. First, the proposal reduces daily rewards from 2,200 to 2,000 stkAAVE, a drop of ~9%. This reward reduction will save 7.1m for the ecosystem reserve. Second, awards will be heavily skewed towards stablecoins. USDC will receive 40% of the entire allotment and DAI 20%. Interestingly, the program redistributes 37% of USDT rewards to other stablecoins like DAI, RAI, PAX, TUSD, and sUSD.

MakerDAO is slowly reducing its USDT exposure while drastically increasing its exposure to USDC. This proposal drops the debt ceiling for USDT liquidity pairs to zero DAI while raising the debt ceiling for USDC liquidity pairs from 50m DAI to 250m DAI. The Risk Core Unit emphasized that the USDT pairs generate almost no revenue but carry a high downside risk due to Tether. A risk seemingly not shared by Circle.

Add Collateral Factors for cMKR, cSUSHI, cAAVE, cYFI, & cLINK

Compound‘s proposal adds collateral factors for assets that were recently accepted onto the platform. New collateral factors are – cMKR 35%, cSUSHI 40%, cAAVE 50%, cYFI 35%, and cLINK 50%.
