Ghosts In The Machine - The First AI NFT Collection

Roughly a year has passed from when I first wrote about our acquisition of 5 Mystic Axies. Since that time, we’ve seen the NFT market undergo a Cambrian explosion of sorts – generative art, social communities forming around profile pictures, etc. While a lover of NFTs in general, I’ve largely sat on the sidelines as those collections emerged. This is not a critique on the newer collections, but rather a byproduct of my mindset. Put simply, I only wanted to buy NFTs that genuinely got me excited. Special NFTs that were unique in their provenance and origin, offering true innovation rather than another JPEG clone with a twist. Friday night I had that feeling once again.
