Trader Joe has taken the Avalanche ecosystem by storm, becoming the dominant DEX on the network in only 2 months. Notably, Trader Joe has its sights on being more than your typical DEX, with plans to build out a suite of lending and farming products as well. Incentives Galore: Avalanche Rush
On Aug. 19, Avalanche experienced a surge in capital inflows, triggered by the Avalanche Foundation announcing a $180M incentive program (now worth >$500M).
The Foundation reached out to blue-chip DeFi protocols on Ethereum in an attempt to get them to deploy their contracts on the network. This proved successful as Aave and Curve committed to deploy on Avalanche, and consequently helped the network attract new users (mostly yield farmers).
Within 48 hours, over $160M was deposited into Avalanche. Inflows peaked at just over $1.1
