How It Works
Illuvium’s flagship game, Overworld, is an open-world RPG experience. It also offers a base-building mini-game called Illuvium: Zero, where landowners can generate resources for use in Overworld. The game operates on Immutable X, a Layer-2 scaling solution built on Ethereum, enabling zero-gas transactions and fast transaction speeds.
Players can capture and assemble a team of Illuvials, each with unique stats, classes, and affinities, for battle. Land NFTs can be used to generate resources in Illuvium: Zero. The land is divided into seven regions and ranked by Tiers 1-5, with higher-tier land having more available resources.
ILV is the primary utility token in the Illuvium ecosystem, providing voting rights on governance proposals, rewards when participating in liquidity mining, and a share of the revenue generated from in-game purchases and fees. sILV2 is a synthetic ILV token used as in-game currency for tasks like land sales and is acquired through staking ILV.
